Dr. Hugo R. Caires, Dr. Diana Sousa,  and Dr. Verónica Bastos were awarded Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) Conference Grants. Dr. Hugo R. Caires and Dr. Diana Sousa both received Awards for best flash presentations of the AICC meeting.

we are happy to announce the last event of our fruitful action:
This will be a webinar by Dr. Maria-Cristina Ceriani, Director Project Management, Parexel International

 

on Friday 9-Sep-2022, from 10 am until 12 pm CEST

 

This webinar is principally aimed at YRI (Young Researchers and Innovators) so please share this with your PhD students and postdocs etc.

Topics:

  1. general introduction on the type of work done by a CRO in the different area of expertise ( e.g. clinical trial design, monitoring and management, regulatory submission with a specific focus on oncological trials)
  2. indicate which are the expertise required – for a researcher with a preclinical background – to pursue a career in a CRO and the different professional figures operating in a CRO, with a presentation of the Parexel academy.
  3. how to exploit the expertise gained in academic institutions during the PhD or the post-doc period if someone would like to move to the clinical research in a CRO

  • 10:10 – 12:00: “Working at CROs” by Parexel International (Maria-Cristina Ceriani)
  • 12:00 – 12:20: Q & A Session
