STRATAGEM’s 5th Annual Conference and WG3/4 Training School to be held in Coimbra, Portugal June/July 2022

From 27^th to 29^th June, we will also have a joint WG3 & WG4 Training School entitled “Applications of genomic, cytometry and In Silico studies to evaluate drug resistance – Clinical implications“.

Declaration of interest: Please let us know if you are interested in coming to the Annual Conference and/or Training School before the 31^st March. To do this, please send an e-mail with your name, institution, position (Professor, PhD student, etc.) and country to these email addresses (costaction.17104@unito.it) AND Raquel Alves (raquel.alves@fmed.uc.pt). Please also indicate whether you wish to be considered for reimbursement.

Annual Conference final registration deadline: 10^th June. Priority for places and reimbursement will be given to maintain a good balance of countries, institutions and ages, with MC members and Action members being given priority over affiliates. Younger researchers will be given the next level of priority – Young Researchers and Innovators (COST Association definition: all those engaged in research under the age of 40) – please indicate in your email if this definition applies to you. Otherwise priority will be given on a first-come-first-served basis.

Training School final registration deadline: 10^th June. Places will be assigned on a first-come-first-served-basis, although relative priority will be given to Young Researchers and Innovators (COST Association definition: all those engaged in research under the age of 40) as this is a Training School. Please indicate in your email if this definition applies to you. We strongly encourage those who attend the Training School to also attend the Annual Conference.

Abstract submission deadline: 15^th May.

Please indicate your preference for oral or poster presentation. A selection will be made by the WG leaders and you will be informed by email.

Who can apply: All STRATAGEM members and affiliated scientists. We would like to encourage everyone to consider the participation of their students and young colleagues, Young Researchers and Innovators (COST Association definition: all those engaged in research under the age of 40) in particular.

Venue: Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra. Participants will be able to stay in nearby hotels. As in all STRATAGEM in-person events, there will be reimbursement for travel, room and board for eligible participants.

Please note that we declaring interest does not guarantee reimbursement. Places are limited and you will be informed if your request for reimbursement has been accepted.
