Advanced Single Cell Sequencing Technologies and Comprehensive Data Analysis – Online Interactive Workshop
STRATAGEM together with Singleron Biotechnologies organized an online interactive
workshop focusing on Advanced Single Cell Sequencing Technologies and Comprehensive
Data Analysis.
The workshop was organized by Dr. Thomas Mohr, STRATAGEM’s WG1 Leader and a team of experts from Singleron Biotechnologies, and included a series of insightful presentations. More than 50 participants
attended the workshop, which took place on 9 February 2022.
Workshop participants were introduced to the cutting-edge single cell sequencing
technologies offered by Singleron Biotechnologies with the focus on oncology using recent
case studies. We also dived into the bioinformatic analysis and the tools for single cell RNA-
seq analysis which allow to make the most of your single cell data.
Tumor heterogeneity and tumor microenvironment have been shown to have a significant
impact on therapy efficacy, complicating treatment and increasing the need for
personalized medicine. Single cell transcriptomics offers insight into this heterogeneity, by
visualizing the activity for each individual cell, allowing to understand cancer development,
prognosis, and therapy efficacy.
